I just had my colonoscopy procedure today. I can't say that many look forward to this, I being one of them. The prep wasn't bad at all. I liked how they broke it up into 2 sessions- evening and the morning before.
Everyone was so kind and nice from the beginning at the reception desk to the discharge. Holly- RN, Nicole- Anesthesiologist,
Tyler- post procedure. Dr. James Stewart was wonderful. He was very personable, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained his findings after the procedure. I was very pleased to have him as my physician.

Granite Peaks was able to schedule an appointment for me to have a colonoscopy with very short notice. I appreciate the kindness and attentiveness to care for me individually, shown through very thorough explanations, time to ask questions, and knowledgeable and helpful resources that were offered to me during my colonoscopy, follow up phone call, and office visit as well.
The practice is efficient and excellent at providing patient a support and comfort right down to the smallest details. I was offered a warm blanket before my colonoscopy. I was comfortable relaxed, and at ease in this safe space.. I am very particular about the healthcare providers that I patronize. I have been medically harmed.in the past. I seek only the best providers whom are considerate and attentive to patient experience and treat patients with respect. Dr. Desautels met and exceeded every standard of care and non harm in all areas of his professional practice.
The online portal allowed me to complete the registration paperwork before I went to my first appointment. The office also had provisions to complete this paperwork in office using paper and clipboard if one does not have access to a smart phone or computer.
The staff was kind and welcoming, friendly, and smiled at me each time I came to the office. I appreciated the warm and friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Steven Desautels has a genuine and authentic interest in providing the best experience for his patients. He solicits feedback and listens with care. Rachel was very professional and friendly. The gastrology staff was helpful to be sure I was ready for procedure. They went out their the way to be sure I was not embarrassed. Dr Schmidt was very professional and kind . The procedure was easy. I would recommend Granite GI.

I think I’ve seen three different GI doctors but Dr.Schmidt really was listening to all my concerns. I told my husband coming out of his office I really feel like this Doctor will actually help me with my IBS problems. I really hope so too I’ve been wanting to find a Doctor that showed concern in me symptoms. Thank you

I was referred here by my primary urgent care office, and I am glad I was. The front desk women were kind, welcoming, and the help I received with insurance questions was reassuring. Amy, who help me before Dr. Jensen, was incredible. She made me feel safe, comfortable, and less embarrassed about my situation. Dr. Jensen’s visit was informing and quick, and was able to resolve my issue. The nurse practitioner in the room was sweet and comforting as well. Overall, I am grateful for this location and everyone who works here. Thank you!
